Pocket Anywhere, formerly PalmGuru.Com, was founded in 1998 by James S. McCarthy and has published hundreds of reviews, articles, tutorials and columns online for Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Palm OS enthusiasts. Pocket Anywhere is also published as a quarterly PDF magazine covering today's digital lifestyle with expanded coverage of more computing platforms including Apple?s iPod, Mac OS X and Windows XP.

Started in late 1997 by handheld-enthusiast Jim McCarthy as a way to self-learn web application development using Perl, PHP, MySQL, SQL and ASP, GadgetMe Magazine was formerly known and started as the "PalmGuru.Com". The "PalmGuru.Com" web site was made popular for its short one-minute reviews about Palm OS product and software.

In September 2000, the "PalmGuru.Com" changed its name to GadgetMe Magazine as more portable and digital gadgets and gizmos filtered into the consumer market.

GadgetMe Magazine receives an average of over a half million hits each month and has been featured in popular news publications like:
