Universal Screen Overlays from Proporta

There are two important things you can do to protect your investment in your pocket pals. First, you can suit them up in a coat of armor in the form of a nice case for protection during transport. Then you should also get a screen protector to reduce wear on the screen, and to protect it from scratches. New screens are expensive. Screen protectors are not. Both precautionary devices are good insurance to protect your investment. Proporta.com is a great place for both.
You may, after some searching, find the specific screen protector for your particular device. Or, you may not. One sure solution is to acquire a universal screen overlay from http://www.proporta.com/F02/PPF02P05.php?t_id=3463&t_mode=des for just $9.95. I’ve seen screen protectors for more than twice the price.
The package contains a sturdy screen overlay that is washable and reusable. It allows clear visibility too, which is an important consideration. I’ve seen some protectors that are cloudy and render the screen a bit murky. The protective sheet covering the actual overlay has grid markings making it easy for cutting straight edges and the exact size required.
Before applying the screen overlay, be certain to clean the screen thoroughly with the cloth provided. You must be careful to apply the overlay exactly parallel to an edge so that it is not crooked. Then you can smooth out any bubbles with the application card included.
The overlay is 2 3/8 x 3 15/16 inches, which is enough to cover two Treo screens. You may also wish to use this universal screen cover for your camera, GPS, MP3, or any other screened device you pack around with you.
Finally, and this is really important, you can easily remove the overlay whenever you want. I have applied some screen protectors that I could never remove. I remember one that I had to use an Exacto knife to remove and scratched the screen in the process.
